Role Overview

As the Studio Content Assistant with Tianna Henry Studios, you will play an important role in bringing creative visions to life through thoughtful content creation and memorable client experiences. Working closely with Founder and Creative Director Tianna Henry, you'll help capture the stories behind our work, document key moments, and support The Wearable Canvas™ experiences from behind the scenes.

This role is ideal for someone with an interest in photography and visual storytelling, and a passion for art, fashion, and culture. During The Wearable Canvas™ season, you'll help showcase the guest experience through dynamic event coverage and support. Outside of event season, you'll assist in producing personal and professional content that reflects the Tianna Henry Studios brand.

Compensation for this part-time position begins at $21.00 CAD per hour.​

Responsibilities

The Wearable Canvas™ (Event Season)

  • Assist with guest check-in and help create a welcoming, premium event experience.

  • Capture high-quality 9:16, and 16:9 footage for future promotional campaigns, website content, and social media.

    • Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video content throughout event days.

    • Film cinematic B-roll of the venue, artwork, creative process, and guest interactions.

  • Assist in filming TikTok or Instagram Live content during events.

  • Capture user-generated style content (if participating).

  • Conduct short guest interviews and testimonials following the event.

  • Organize and transfer captured content following each event.

Founder Content (Outside Event Season)

  • Capture professional photo and video content featuring Founder Tianna Henry using studio-provided DSLR equipment.

  • Assist with filming content for social media, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

  • Capture behind-the-scenes footage of the creative process, meetings, artwork, and studio life.

  • Support lifestyle, fashion, and personal brand content aligned with the Tianna Henry Studios aesthetic.

  • Assist with content setup, lighting, and framing to ensure a polished final product.

Equipment Requirements

  • Comfortable shooting with DSLR cameras (studio equipment will be provided for Founder content).

  • Must own or have regular access to a dedicated digital camera capable of capturing high-quality photo and video content (e.g., DJI Osmo Pocket, Canon G7 X, Sony ZV-1, or similar).

  • Comfortable filming vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) content for social media platforms.

  • Familiarity with basic camera settings, composition, and smooth handheld shooting techniques.
